Welcome to the Name the President (NTP) website.  NTP is a set of games that test the player’s knowledge of facts about U.S. presidents.  In each game, the player is given ten categories, each with five items in it.  The object of the game is for the player to name the president that corresponds to each item.  Single user and multiuser versions of the game can be accessed from the tabs above.

     NTP has fifty-four different categories and four hundred-forty-four different items, i.e., questions to answer.  The Categories tab links to an alphabetical list of the categories and the items associated with each category.  The Biographies tab links to short biographies of the first forty-four presidents.  Each biography includes a list of references.
